My name is Ms. Giglio, and I am a graduate of the History Education program at East Carolina University (GO PIRATES!! ARRRGGG!!). I also am a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. In 2015, after teaching briefly in Franklin County, I found my home at Enloe Magnet High School.
I am very passionate about history and education. I look forward to working with all of my current and future students to better help them understand the importance and relevance of their history courses. All children have the ability learn, and I will be here every step of the way to encourage and guide my students! |
Ms. Giglio's Teaching Philosophy:
I believe every student is capable and willing to learn, given the correct guidance and instruction. I believe that the development of content knowledge and certain skill sets can and will prepare students to be thoughtful and informed citizens. I believe education is NOT about teaching students what to think but rather how to think for themselves, and in my classroom that is exactly what we aim to accomplish!
